How our charity auctions work

We specialise in creating a service to meet the online needs of charities and non profits. Our package is designed to assist from the original creation through to the promotion of the auction and tracking of visitors to the auction site.

We will work with you to set-up your online auction system to your exact specifications. You can completely tailor the design of the auction page, to be in-keeping with the context of your site or to have a separate look and feel. By keeping the look and feel of your existing site the auction helps to enforce brand integrity.

If the auction is running alongside a specific event you can create new pages giving details of the event, links to where you can purchase tickets, contact details, news, photo gallery, donor page and any other page you might like.

There are a few details that you will need to provide us with to get your auction up and running, obviously if you want us to manage the content for you then you will need to send more information over to us. To make this easy we have created a word template that you can fill in and send back to us with all the relevant information.

The template includes information such as:

  1. Where you want the auction to be hosted (eg.http://auction.yoursite.com)
  2. What you want your auction to look like? If you have a site you want it integrated into then please add it here
  3. How many items you hope to have for the auction?
  4. Do you need help sourcing items to auction?
  5. Other than the normal fields do you have any specific fields that will need adding eg. Location of the item or dimensions etc...)
  6. Bidding System: eBay – or Silent. (More about our charity auction bidding systems)
  7. Auction/Item start and end dates
  8. Bidding details – Start, reserve, increment, buy it now, delivery etc...
  9. Is the auction being used in combination with a live event?
  10. Are you running a google grant in combination with the auction to gain greater exposure?
